101. Chocolate Cake with Figs

My mother’s favorite. This cake is very firm and perfect as your dinner party centerpiece because it doesn’t melt. The exotic flavor of dry figs and nuts in a biscuit base gives this four-layered chocolate filled cake a very special taste. It has a week long refrigerated shelf life, but if you can resist not eating it straight away, you can keep it for up to six months in the freezer.

Available in 10” size (16-20 servings) $40 Cad
Available in half sheet size 11”x 15” (50-60 servings) $75 Cad

102. Vasa’s Cake

The most popular ‘all occasion’ cake available, whether traditionally round or in customized shapes. This oh-so-moist cake consists of one layer that is rich with nuts, a layer of thick nut and chocolate cream, all topped off with fresh whipping cream. For a touch of the tropics, fresh orange juice mixed in with the cream gives this cake an extra special flavor.

103. Japanese Breeze

This cake is a special treat. Light and creamy, it doesn’t contain any flour, and to make it requires a real labor of love. The base of the cake is pure meringue, topped with three layers of walnut, chocolate and vanilla cream. A layer of whipping cream adds the final, delicate touch.

Available in 10” size (16-20 servings) $40 Cad
Available in half sheet size 11”x 15” (50-60 servings) $75 Cad
